Description
Ideal schedule: Friday – Monday, 11:30am – 12am (36hrs, paid for 40)
Now offering a sign-on bonus up to $5,000.
- Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production process, such as machine operators, fabricators, and general laborers.
- Follow work schedules, plan assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
- Execute shipping schedule and provide shipping support.
- Confer with supervisors to coordinate operations and activities between shifts.
- Interpret customer specifications, blueprints, job orders, and procedures for workers.
- Recommend or implement measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
- Enforce company policies and safety regulations.
- Execute employee performance evaluations and recommend actions such as promotion, demotion or personnel changes.
- Confer with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems or complaints.
- Support Quality Dept by performing final sign offs and quality inspections.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma required, some college preferred
- 1+ years Leadership experience preferred
- Metals experience preferred
- Blueprint reading ability beneficial
