Key Responsibilities
• Lead and mentor L2/L3 support engineers, ensuring strong technical capability and consistent delivery.
• Manage workload distribution, shift governance, and on‑call rotations.
• Conduct knowledge‑sharing sessions, technical training, and SOP improvements.
• Drive accountability, discipline, and adherence to production support processes.
• Act as the highest-level escalation point for critical incidents (Sev‑1/Sev‑2).
• Ensure timely communication with clear incident summaries and RCA reports.
• Debug and analyze J2EE, Spring Boot, and Microservices-based applications.
• Optimize application performance and API response times.
• Troubleshoot Oracle/DB2 database performance issues.
• Enhance monitoring, alerting, and automated recovery mechanisms.
• Promote automation of routine tasks and log analysis.
• Drive health checks, capacity planning, and resilience improvements.
• Collaborate with development for release readiness and deployment validation.
• Ensure adherence to ITIL Change Management processes.
• Communicate status, risks, and insights to senior management.
• Align with regulatory, compliance, and audit expectations.
