Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Production Supervisor in the Sheet Metal Press Shop at our Jamshedpur facility. The Production Supervisor will oversee daily operations, manage production schedules, ensure quality standards, and coordinate with the production team to meet deadlines. The role involves planning and implementing efficient manufacturing processes while ensuring a safe and organized working environment. The supervisor will also be responsible for continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving within the shop floor operations.
Qualifications
- Strong Supervisory Skills to lead and manage production teams efficiently
- Expertise in Production Schedules and Production Planning to ensure timely and effective workflow
- Knowledge of Production Management principles and best practices
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with team members and communicate goals clearly
- Ability to analyze and resolve operational challenges in a timely manner
- Experience in the sheet metal or manufacturing industry is an advantage
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering or a related field is preferred
- Commitment to creating a safe and productive working environment
