The Role
As the Bright Bar Lead, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the drawing processes. You will manage a dedicated team of workers, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining the highest quality standards across various bar profiles.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Leadership: Lead, train, and manage a team of shop floor workers to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient daily operations.
- Technical Execution: Oversee the bright bar drawing process, including the precise setup, maintenance, and changeover of bright bar dies.
- Profile Expertise: Manage the production of diverse shapes, ensuring exact dimensional accuracy for round, square, and hexagonal rods.
- Quality & Yield: Monitor the drawing, straightening, and finishing processes to control wastage, improve material yield, and meet strict quality specifications.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: N+ years of relevant, hands-on experience in bright bar manufacturing and cold drawing processes.
- Technical Mastery: Strong understanding of bright bar drawing machinery, die setting, and tooling.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to supervise, motivate, and guide a team of workers in a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Location: Must be able to work on-site at Bhavnagar GIDC.
