Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Production Supervisor located in Bengaluru. The Production Supervisor will oversee day-to-day operations on the production floor, including managing production schedules, planning resources, and ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met. This role also involves supervising and guiding production staff to optimize productivity while maintaining a safe working environment. Collaboration with other departments and effective communication will be essential for smooth execution of production processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise 15-25 operators per shift: assign tasks, monitor performance, and
resolve floor conflicts to meet hourly output targets
• Coordinate with stores, quality, maintenance, and logistics for material flow,
returns, and bottleneck resolution using visual management and Google Sheets
for real-time tracking.
• Enforce right production practices, safety (PPE during soldering),
and SOPs; conduct daily huddles and audits to reduce rejects/RTD.
• Track KPIs: output, downtime, wastage; report via hourly sheets and suggest
Kaizen improvements like SMED for changeovers.
• Train operators via OJT/skill matrix; recommend hiring/promotions and handle
discipline/leave per policy.
