Job Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise day-to-day production and mechanical assembly activities.
- Handle and allocate manpower to ensure optimum utilization and productivity.
- Plan daily production activities and ensure timely execution as per project schedules.
- Read and understand mechanical drawings, GA drawings, BOMs, and assembly drawings.
- Ensure assembly and fabrication work is carried out as per drawings and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Stores, Electrical, and Project teams for smooth production.
- Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and take corrective actions.
- Maintain proper shop-floor discipline, safety, housekeeping, and 5S.
- Prepare daily production updates and report progress, pending activities, and material requirements to management.
Required Skills
- Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in production, mechanical assembly, or manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of mechanical drawings, fabrication, and assembly processes.
- Strong manpower handling and production planning skills.
- Good problem-solving and coordination abilities.
- Hands-on experience in an industrial automation, machinery, conveyor, or engineering manufacturing environment will be preferred.
