Job Description: Shift Incharge

Experience Required: 5 – 8 Years
Product Line: GRGO Lamination
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Incharge to oversee production operations related to GRGO Lamination. The role involves managing shop floor activities, ensuring production targets are met, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team effectively during assigned shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage shift operations in the GRGO Lamination production line.
- Ensure achievement of daily and monthly production targets.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
- Maintain strict adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Implement and follow safety protocols across the shop floor.
- Manage manpower allocation and optimize workforce productivity.
- Track and report production data, shift performance, and any deviations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Maintenance, and Planning.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, Lean practices).
- Handle shift handover processes effectively with proper documentation.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of GRGO Lamination processes.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Familiarity with production planning and quality control tools.
- Basic knowledge of safety standards and industrial practices.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in transformer core or lamination manufacturing industry.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
