Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Ahmedabad for a Production Shift Chemist. The key responsibilities include operating and monitoring chemical processes, managing manufacturing equipment, conducting quality control tests, adhering to safety regulations, and maintaining compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Hands-on involvement in troubleshooting production issues and improving process efficiency is expected. Coordination with the R&D and quality assurance teams is also an integral part of this role to ensure all production activities meet set standards and protocols.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Laboratory Skills, including familiarity with routine equipment and chemical safety protocols.
- Strong Analytical Skills and understanding of processes such as HPLC, GC-HS, and GC-MS.
- Experience in Quality Control and compliance with quality assurance standards.
- Knowledge and application of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and regulatory requirements.
- Background in Research and Development (R&D), including problem-solving and scaling processes.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.
