Responsibilities:
PCBA Manufacturing Process Knowledge:
- Demonstrate expertise in PCB assembly processes, materials, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to optimize PCBA for efficiency and quality.
Total Productive Maintenance (TPM):
- Develop and implement TPM strategies to maximize equipment efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Establish preventive maintenance protocols for critical manufacturing equipment.
Total Quality Management (TQM):
- Install a culture of continuous improvement and adherence to the highest standards of product quality.
- Implement TQM methodologies across all aspects of the manufacturing process.
Kaizen:
- Lead and foster Kaizen initiatives to drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency and product quality.
- Encourage cross-functional teams to identify and implement incremental improvements.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Define, monitor, and analyse KPIs for the production plant, including OEE, first-pass yield, and production output.
- Utilize data analytics for real-time performance monitoring and decision-making.
Six Sigma: Six sigma – Green Belt preferred
- Champion Six Sigma methodologies to reduce defects, variations, and enhance overall process efficiency.
- Lead Six Sigma projects, applying DMAIC principles to achieve process optimization and quality excellence.
Industry 4.0 Integration:
- Develop and execute a strategy for integrating Industry 4.0 technologies, including IoT and data analytics.
- Utilize smart manufacturing solutions for predictive maintenance and process optimization.
Value Stream Mapping (VSM):
- Conduct detailed VSM analysis to optimize material and information flow throughout the production process.
- Implement lean principles to streamline workflows and eliminate non-value-added activities.
DFMEA and PFMEA:
- Lead the development and application of DFMEA and PFMEA processes to identify and mitigate potential failure modes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to address failure points in design and manufacturing.
Root Cause Analysis and Cost of Quality:
- Implement rigorous root cause analysis methodologies to address issues and defects.
- Conduct cost of quality analyses to optimize resources and reduce overall quality-related costs.
Production Planning and Capacity Planning:
- Develop and implement robust production planning strategies to meet demand and delivery commitments.
- Utilize advanced production planning tools to optimize scheduling, resource allocation, and inventory management.
- Conduct capacity planning to ensure the facility is equipped to handle growing demands.
Mechanical Part Knowledge:
- Possess knowledge of mechanical components and their integration within electronic products.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
Knowledge on Lean Tools & Techniques
- 7 waste analysis
- 3M- Mura (imbalance), Muri (overloading) and Muda (waste)
- Andon system
- Heijunka (Level Scheduling)
- Jidoka (Autonomation)
- Just-In-Time (JIT)
- Kanban (Pull System)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of production experience
- Strong organizational and managerial skills
Essential Skills
- Leadership skills: Lead and motivate the production team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track production performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Knowledge of automotive standards, including IATF 16949 and VDA6.3.
