Job Title: Production Senior Assistant
Reporting to: Head of Operations
Location: Mumbai

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The person in this position plays a crucial role in end-to-end production processes from order to delivery, focusing on ensuring that our clients receive high-quality products. This includes assisting in planning production schedules, monitoring ongoing work and timelines, conducting quality checks, communicating timely updates, problem-solving, and addressing post-delivery issues to uphold our commitment to quality and client satisfaction. The role requires systematic coordination with design, sales, and manufacturing teams and is ideal for a process- and detail-oriented individual with a passion for furniture products.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
CORE PRODUCTION RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in planning production schedules for all vendors across the production line (carpentry, polishing, upholstery, metal work)
Coordinate commissioning meetings with vendors, and prepare job orders
Assist Design in commissioning work to vendors
Consistently update production trackers & softwares on a daily basis
Ensure timely material requisitioning and allocation, including hardware and glass
Monitor the production line on a daily basis and ensure the smooth flow of work in a timely manner
Conduct regular inspections during and post production to ensure high-quality of products
Assist in problem-solving during production
Coordinate the creation of all finish samples
Assist in coordinating logistics/deliveries
Assisting in planning and monitoring site installations, and send timely reports
Track and ensure timely resolution of post-delivery snags, and send timely reports
Provide support for product costing
SALES & DESIGN SUPPORT
Conduct site visits - measurements and markings, and send timely reports
Support Sales Team for client meetings and inspections at the Design Unit
Support Design Team during product photoshoots
Support product reviews, improvements and documentation
MISCELLANEOUS
Regularly update organisation tracking systems
Provide Marketing Team with support in collecting photo & video content
Conduct market research and market visits
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate in engineering, production management, furniture design, or related subject
1-2 years of experience in furniture production or related field
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
Strong written and spoken English language skills
Basic spoken Hindi language skills
Highly organised with attention to detail and ability to coordinate effectively
Enthusiastic about spending time on the shop floor
Strong collaborator and team player
Highly ethical with strong moral compass
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of materials and production methods
Knowledge of photography
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop
Proficient in AutoCad
Strong design aesthetic and sensibility
Basic spoken Gujarati language skills
