Key Responsibilities
- Dynamic sequencing & scheduling: Create and manage the daily machine-run sequence (e.g., corrugators, printers, die-cutters) to maximize efficiency by grouping similar orders to reduce setup and wash-up times
- Material & tooling coordination: Ensure all raw materials (paper, films, inks) and technical components (plates, dies, stereos) are physically staged at the machine before the current run ends to eliminate idle time
- WIP (work-in-progress) flow management: Physically track the movement of semi-finished goods between departments to ensure downstream machines (like gluers or folders) always have a backlog of work, and the floor remains clear of bottlenecks
