Role Description The Production Planning Control role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The role involves creating, maintaining, and optimizing production schedules to meet delivery timelines and inventory targets. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with procurement, production, and quality teams, monitoring material availability, and adjusting plans to address delays or changes in demand. The position requires tracking production progress, analyzing data to improve efficiency, and preparing regular reports on capacity utilization and output. The role also includes supporting continuous improvement initiatives, identifying bottlenecks, and communicating clear priorities to shop-floor and management stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Production Planning and Production Schedules to manage capacity, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Candidates should possess solid Planning and Analytical Skills to forecast demand, interpret data, and optimize workflows.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey production priorities clearly.
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments, preferably in textiles, outdoor products, or related industries.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP or Advance MS Excel for reporting and analysis.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment in Ahmedabad.
