Exide Energy Solutions Limited is looking for PPC in the Manufacturing organisation to achieve company’s goal at the Devanahalli, Bangalore Location.
Job Location: Devanahalli, Bangalore
We are currently hiring for the following positions Manufacturing🛠Team:
Production Planning & Scheduling - AM /DM
1. Strategic Planning & Alignment
- Develop short- and long-term production plans based on demand forecasts and capacity.
- Align plans with delivery commitments, business goals, and operational readiness.
- Coordinate with Sales and Dispatch teams to ensure on-time delivery.
2. Material & Resource Planning
- Execute MRP in SAP and manage PIRs for SFG/FG.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials, consumables, and packaging.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess.
- Plan and procure PPE, consumables, and process materials.
3. Capacity Planning & Scheduling
- Evaluate machine, manpower, and plant capacity; optimize utilization.
- Convert MRP outputs into production/process orders.
- Create daily/shift schedules based on capacity and material readiness.
- Support NPI, trials, and ramp-up activities.
4. Production Execution & Coordination
- Monitor production progress and ensure timely work order execution.
- Act as a link between PPC and shop floor for schedule adherence.
- Resolve bottlenecks, breakdowns, and manpower constraints in real-time.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth operations.
5. Performance Monitoring & Improvement
- Track plan vs. actual performance and schedule adherence.
- Generate MIS reports and analyze production variances.
- Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor KPIs: inventory, capacity, material availability, and accuracy.
6. Systems & Compliance
- Maintain ERP master data (BOM, routing, work centers).
- Ensure proper documentation, approvals, and revision control.
- Adhere to safety, quality, and audit standards.
7. Business Growth Support
- Strengthen planning systems to enable scalable manufacturing growth.
- Improve operational efficiency and plant readiness.
Education and Experience:
🎓 Must have 6-15 yrs experience with B.E / B.Tech
