The Production Manager - CNC leads the CNC production line, ensuring efficient operations, on-time delivery, and quality output for machining processes like milling, turning, and multi-axis work.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee daily/weekly CNC production schedules, balancing machine capacity, manpower, and customer demands to meet targets.
- Monitor KPIs (OEE, cycle time, scrap rates), troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvements using Lean/Six Sigma tools.
- Lead, train, and supervise CNC operators, programmers, and shift teams; enforce safety (OSHA/ISO) and quality standards.
- Coordinate maintenance, tooling procurement, and process setups; collaborate with vendors and other departments for seamless workflow.
Analyze production data, reduce costs, and report progress to senior management.
