We’re Hiring: Production Manager | Virat Cooling Systems
Virat Cooling Systems is engaged in the manufacturing of industrial chillers and customized cooling solutions for diverse industrial applications.
We are looking for a Production Manager to oversee and manage manufacturing operations with a focus on process efficiency, product quality, and timely execution.
📍 Location: Kadodara Road, Niyol, Surat
🕒 Work Mode: On-site
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage daily production activities in line with defined schedules and project requirements
- Oversee fabrication, piping, assembly and testing of industrial cooling systems
- Coordinate with design and engineering teams for execution of standard and customized units
- Ensure adherence to technical specifications, quality standards, and production processes
- Monitor shop floor operations including manpower, machines, and workflow efficiency
- Track production progress and maintain records for output, delays, and performance
- Identify and resolve operational issues during fabrication and assembly stages
- Ensure availability and proper utilization of raw materials and components
- Supervise shop floor teams to maintain consistency, discipline, and work standards
- Ensure safety practices and compliance across all production activities
Key Skills
- Strong understanding of industrial equipment manufacturing, preferably HVAC or chiller systems
- Hands-on knowledge of design, fabrication, assembly processes, piping, and electrical systems
- Familiarity with components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, and heat exchangers
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production layouts
- Experience in production planning and coordination
- Problem-solving approach for shop floor challenges
- Basic understanding of quality checks and testing processes (pressure, leak, performance)
- Team handling and coordination skills
- Attention to detail and process discipline
