Role Description
The Production Manager will oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure product quality, safety, and efficiency at Popular Foods' facility in Nelamangala. Key responsibilities include managing production schedules, supervising plant staff, ensuring adherence to safety and quality control protocols, and optimizing resource use. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet production goals while driving continuous improvement in processes. This is a full-time, on-site position.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of production processes, capacity planning, and manufacturing workflows
- Experience in quality control, process optimizations, and compliance with safety standards
- Supervisory skills to lead, train, and manage production staff effectively
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address production challenges and improve operations
- Proficient in using manufacturing and production software systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Production Management, Operations, or related fields
- Prior experience in the food manufacturing or FMCG sector is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
