Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Manager based in Vasai. The Production Manager will oversee daily operations in the manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient production of cold-pressed oils. Responsibilities include managing production schedules, supervising staff, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring adherence to health, safety, and sustainability protocols. The role involves inventory management, process improvement, coordination with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of finished products while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of production processes, equipment management, and quality control
- Experience in inventory management, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Skills in workforce management, team leadership, and conflict resolution
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, particularly in food manufacturing
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and decision-making to identify and improve production efficiency
- Background in food science, industrial engineering, or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a commitment to sustainability
- Previous experience in an edible oil manufacturing or food processing industry is an advantage
