Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Production Manager, located in Tamil Nadu, India. The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the manufacturing processes, ensuring that production schedules are met efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with cross-functional teams, monitoring equipment and inventory, implementing safety protocols, optimizing workflows, and addressing operational challenges to maximize productivity and minimize waste. Additionally, the Production Manager will play a key role in employee coaching, performance management, and ensuring compliance with industry and ISO standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in production management, process optimization, and workflow planning
- Skills in staff coordination, team leadership, and employee performance management
- Knowledge of industrial safety regulations and quality control standards, including ISO 9001:2015 compliance
- Familiarity with manufacturing of industrial coatings, such as Epoxy, Polyurethane, Alkyd, and Heat Resistant paints
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in production planning software and basic inventory management tools
- Educational background in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in industrial paints, is a plus
