Role Summary
We are looking for a Production & Operations Manager to lead the end-to-end execution of modular furniture projects by coordinating with manufacturing partners, installation teams, project managers, and customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless execution, maintaining quality standards, meeting project timelines, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate final site measurements, production drawings, BOMs, and site conditions before production.
- Coordinate with partner factories to plan, schedule, and monitor production activities.
- Ensure products are manufactured as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Conduct quality inspections before dispatch and coordinate timely resolution of any quality issues.
- Plan and coordinate dispatches, logistics, and installer allocation for projects.
- Oversee on-site installation, ensuring proper alignment, finishing, and adherence to project timelines.
- Conduct final project inspections, manage snag resolution, and facilitate client handover.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, factories, installers, and customers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain project documentation, execution reports, and status updates.
- Identify execution bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in modular furniture manufacturing, interior fit-outs, or project execution.
- Strong understanding of modular kitchens, wardrobes, production drawings, BOMs, hardware, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in managing factory operations, vendor coordination, quality control, and site installations.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and ERP/Project Management software is preferred.
- Excellent communication, planning, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel to factories and project sites as required.
- Preferably an interior designer
