Role Objective
The Associate Manager will oversee the end-to-end manufacturing processes for Single Use Systems (SUS). This role requires a blend of technical expertise in cleanroom operations and strong leadership to ensure production targets are met with zero compromise on quality or safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning: Execute daily and monthly production schedules to ensure timely delivery of SUS assemblies.
- Process Oversight: Supervise assembly, welding, and packaging processes within ISO-certified cleanroom environments.
- Resource Management: Manage a team of supervisors and operators, ensuring optimal manpower allocation and skill development.
- Quality Assurance: Work closely with the QA/QC department to ensure all products meet global regulatory standards (e.g., USP Class VI, ISO 11137).
- Compliance & Safety: Maintain strict adherence to cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and safety protocols on the shop floor.
Candidate Profile
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Biotechnology, or Biomedical Engineering.
- Experience: 7–10 years in production, with at least 3–4 years specifically in Single Use Systems (SUS) or Medical Device manufacturing.
- Technical Skills:
- * Deep understanding of Single Use technology (tubing, connectors, bags, and filters).
- Experience in Cleanroom (Grade C/D) operations and gowning protocols.
- Knowledge of sterilization processes (Gamma/EO).
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, analytical problem-solving, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams under pressure.
