Role Overview
The Factory Manager will oversee end-to-end operations at MC-Bauchemie India Pvt. Ltd.โs Bhiwadi plant, including production, quality, maintenance, safety, cost control, and people management. The role involves driving daily operations, ensuring output targets, leading teams, enforcing safety standards, and reporting performance to senior leadership. It requires strong operational discipline, cross-functional coordination, and continuous improvement to ensure efficient and smooth plant performance aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
โข Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations at the Bhiwadi plant to ensure achievement of production targets, optimal resource utilization, and timely dispatches.
โข Drive production planning, scheduling, and shop-floor execution while minimizing downtime, rejection, and process losses.
โข Ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, statutory, and environmental requirements across plant operations.
โข Coordinate with quality, maintenance, stores, procurement, logistics, and commercial teams for uninterrupted plant performance.
โข Monitor machinery health, preventive maintenance planning, and breakdown response to maintain plant efficiency.
โข Lead, guide, and develop plant manpower including supervisors, operators, and contract workforce to build a high-performance culture.
โข Track plant KPIs such as production volume, capacity utilization, wastage, downtime, labour productivity, and operational efficiency, and submit regular MIS to the Country Head - Operations.
โข Implement process improvement, productivity enhancement, and cost optimization initiatives across operations.
โข Support audits, inspections, and internal compliance reviews related to manufacturing and plant administration.
Candidate Profile
โข Bachelorโs degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Production Engineering, or related field
โข 8โ12 years of experience in plant operations, including 5+ years in a leadership role
โข Experience in construction chemicals, specialty chemicals, building materials, paints, adhesives, or similar industries preferred
โข Strong knowledge of production planning, safety, quality systems, maintenance, and manpower management
โข Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and manufacturing MIS/reporting
โข Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills
