KlHL Maison D’ Ilara is a medium scale company engaged in the business of producing Hand Embroidered Garments, Motifs and Trims for export.
The company now wishes to launch their own brand of Indo Western and Ethnic wear for sales in the domestic market.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Production Manager role based in Kolkata. The Production Manager will oversee daily operations on the production floor, ensure adherence to production schedules, optimize workflow efficiency, and manage resources to meet company goals. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards, implement process improvements, and address any operational challenges. The individual will also manage and supervise a team, ensuring compliance with safety standards and workplace policies.
Qualifications
- Experience in production planning, workflow management, and process optimization
- Strong leadership, team management, and workforce coordination skills
- Knowledge of quality assurance protocols and ability to enforce compliance
- Proficiency in systems used for production and operations management
- Problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Production Management, or related field (preferred)
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is highly desirable
