Role Description The Production Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Shrirampur. The Production Manager will oversee daily manufacturing operations, plan and monitor production schedules, and ensure that output meets quality, safety, and delivery standards. This role will coordinate with engineering, quality, procurement, and logistics teams to optimize workflows, manage resources, and address any production issues. Responsibilities include supervising shop-floor teams, implementing cost-effective manufacturing techniques, tracking performance metrics, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Production Manager will also support customer requirements by maintaining clear communication on order status, timelines, and technical considerations.
Qualifications
- Strong production and operations management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
- Experience with CNC machining, fabrication, welding, and related manufacturing processes used in oil and gas and allied sectors.
- Knowledge of quality assurance, inspection methods, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
- Ability to implement cost-reduction strategies, process improvements, and lean manufacturing or similar methodologies.
- Proficiency in using production management software, ERP systems, and basic data analysis tools.
- Effective people management skills, including team leadership, performance monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Relevant technical qualification such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- Prior experience in managing production in oil and gas, heavy engineering, or precision manufacturing environments is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, with capacity to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
