Job Summary:
We're seeking a responsible, experienced Production Manager to oversee daily production, manage manpower, ensure product quality, and keep the workflow running smoothly. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring production operations, ensuring the timely completion of work and adherence to company standards.
Candidates from the Medical Device / Healthcare Equipment industry will be preferred. The candidate must also know end-to-end production documentation and compliance processes required in the medical equipment industry.
Key Responsibilities: Production & Operations Management
- Plan, organize, and manage daily production activities.
- Ensure smooth production workflow and timely completion of targets.
- Monitor production schedules and coordinate with concerned departments.
- Maintain production efficiency while minimizing delays and wastage.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machinery, and resources.
Documentation & Compliance
- Handle end-to-end production documentation and maintain proper production records.
- Ensure all production-related documents are updated and maintained as per company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain SOPs, checklists, batch records, testing reports, and compliance-related documentation.
- Coordinate for audits, inspections, and document verification whenever required.
Team Management
- Supervise production staff and allocate responsibilities accordingly.
- Monitor employee performance and maintain discipline within the department.
- Conduct regular team coordination and review meetings.
- Train and guide team members regarding production processes and safety standards.
Quality Control & Compliance
- Ensure product quality standards are maintained during production.
- Monitor quality checks and maintain required documentation.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
- Coordinate with other departments for issue resolution and process improvement.
Inventory & Material Coordination
- Coordinate with the Purchase/Store department regarding material requirements.
- Monitor stock availability to avoid production interruptions.
- Maintain records of raw materials, finished goods, and production reports.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
- Maintain production-related records and documentation properly.
- Report any production delays, machinery issues, or operational concerns to management.
Required Skills
- Good leadership and team management skills
- Strong coordination and communication abilities
- Knowledge of end-to-end production documentation
- Understanding of production planning and workflow management
- Knowledge of compliance and documentation processes in the Medical Device / Equipment industry
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and reporting

Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Production, Operations, Engineering, Biomedical, or related field.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in Production/Operations Management.
- Candidates must have prior experience in the Medical Device / Healthcare Equipment industry.
