Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Manager, located in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The Production Manager will oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production planning, resource management, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include optimizing processes for efficiency, managing a team, ensuring compliance with GMP and food safety regulations, coordinating with supply chain and quality control teams, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of production planning, process optimization, and operational efficiency
- Experience in team management, leadership, and employee training
- Knowledge of GMP standards, food safety protocols, and regulatory compliance
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills with a focus on continuous improvement
- Proficiency in production management software and systems (e.g., SCADA supervision systems)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Prior experience in food manufacturing or a related field is a significant advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Commitment to sustainability and innovative production techniques
