Role Description The Production Manager will oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations for battery systems, ensuring that production targets, quality standards and safety protocols are consistently met. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling production, coordinating resources, managing production staff and optimizing workflows to improve efficiency and reduce downtime. The Production Manager will monitor key performance indicators, drive continuous improvement initiatives and support documentation and reporting related to production activities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru .
Roles and Responsibilities :
I. Responsible for collaborating with production manager to develop production schedules, ensuring that production targets are met within deadlines.
II. Handling Battery pack Module Assembly line for various Vehicle variants for new projects including E-bike, E-loader, E– rickshaw and E- Auto.
III. Managing the PCB testing, SCU, BMS, BMCU, TIU and DIU software flash and bootloader upload to the PCB as per the ECN.
IV. Managing production process of Battery Pack Assembly, Battery Charging, EOL Testing process, HRD testing, Battery
V. Monitoring Project Defects & conducting GEMBA meeting & providing action plan & closure reports.
VI. Preparing monthly MIS report, Target vs. Actual, Shop floor Inventory, Machine Breakdown loss, Rejection percentage, and Yearly budget
VII. Team up and implement improvement activities, KAIZEN & 5S activities and POKE YOKE
VIII. Conducting Training sessions for Employees regarding Production process issues, Industry safety, Shop floor Management, Improvement Activities.
IX. Working on Greenfield project to set up robust assembly line.
X. Monitor KPI of direct and indirect reporters (6 Engineers and 140 technicians)
XI. Implement measures to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity while maintaining safety standards.
Key Requirements:
- Relevant educational qualifications and professional experience
- More than 9 years of experince
- Strong technical and functional expertise in the respective domain
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
