Job Title: Production / Quality Manager – Furniture & Turnkey Interiors
Location: Gurugram
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Industry: Interior Design / Furniture Manufacturing / Turnkey Execution
We are looking for an experienced and detail-driven Production / Quality Manager to lead factory production quality and on-site execution standards for our interior projects. This role is ideal for someone who understands furniture manufacturing, technical drawings, site coordination, and quality control across turnkey interior works.
The ideal candidate will ensure that all furniture is manufactured exactly as per approved drawings, quality benchmarks are maintained at every stage, and on-site installations and turnkey works are executed seamlessly within timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Factory Production & Manufacturing Oversight
- Supervise end-to-end furniture production in factory/workshop.
- Ensure all furniture is manufactured strictly as per approved drawings, dimensions, materials, finishes, and specifications.
- Coordinate with production teams, carpenters, polishers, vendors, and supervisors for smooth workflow.
- Monitor daily production schedules and ensure timely dispatches.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
Quality Control
- Establish and monitor quality checks at every stage of production.
- Inspect raw materials, hardware, joinery, finishing, polishing, laminates, veneers, and final output.
- Ensure zero-defect mindset before dispatch to site.
- Maintain quality reports, snag lists, and corrective action tracking.
Site Installation & Execution
- Visit project sites regularly to supervise furniture installation.
- Ensure installations are accurate, aligned, damage-free, and as per drawings.
- Coordinate with designers, project managers, contractors, and site teams.
- Resolve site execution issues quickly and practically.
Turnkey Project Monitoring
- Oversee execution quality for civil, paint, false ceiling, flooring, electrical coordination, and allied works.
- Ensure all work is completed as per brand/company standards and timelines.
- Track project progress and escalate delays proactively.
- Ensure site readiness for furniture installation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in Interior Design, Civil, Production, Furniture Technology, or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in furniture production, factory operations, or turnkey interior execution.
- Strong understanding of modular/custom furniture manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read technical drawings and production details.
- Excellent quality control knowledge for furniture and interior works.
- Strong vendor, labor, and site coordination skills.
- Practical problem-solving approach with ownership mindset.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in premium residential / commercial interiors.
- Exposure to factory setup, machinery workflow, and material sourcing.
- Knowledge of hardware brands, finishes, veneers, laminates, and installation methods.
