Title: Manager Production

Location: Chandigarh University, Gharuan Mohali, Punjab

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Manager – Production (Stage & Sound) to lead and manage all aspects of stage setup and audio production for live events, shows, and productions. The role involves overseeing stage design, sound systems, technical teams, and ensuring seamless execution of events from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Stage Management

Plan, design, and oversee stage setups based on event requirements

Coordinate stage construction, rigging, lighting, and props

Ensure all stage operations meet safety and compliance standards

Manage backstage activities during rehearsals and live events

Supervise stage crew for setup, execution, and dismantling

Sound & Audio Management

Plan and execute sound system requirements (PA systems, microphones, mixers, monitors)

Coordinate with sound engineers for setup, testing, and live execution

Ensure high-quality audio output during events

Troubleshoot audio issues in real-time

Oversee sound checks and rehearsals with performers

Team & Vendor Management

Lead cross-functional teams including stage crew, sound engineers, and technicians

Manage external vendors, suppliers, and production partners

Allocate tasks and ensure timely execution

Train and mentor junior team members

Event Planning & Execution

Develop production timelines and schedules

Collaborate with event managers, designers, and artists

Ensure all technical elements are ready before event start

Handle last-minute changes and on-ground challenges effectively

Technical & Compliance

Ensure proper maintenance and usage of AV equipment

Maintain inventory of stage and sound equipment

Follow safety protocols and risk management practices

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Production, Audio Engineering, or related field (preferred)

Certifications in sound engineering or live production (preferred)

Experience Required

8–10+ years of experience in event production, stage management, or live sound

Proven experience handling large-scale events, concerts, or productions

Experience managing teams and vendors
