Role Description
The Production Manager will oversee and coordinate daily manufacturing operations to ensure production efficiency, quality, and timely delivery. Responsibilities include managing production schedules, supervising staff, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and optimizing workflows. The role involves monitoring inventory, identifying process improvements, and spearheading team training and development initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Aroor, Cherthala.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to supervise and motivate a diverse team effectively.
- Expertise in production planning, workflow optimization, and resource management to meet production goals.
- Knowledge and experience in maintaining quality assurance processes and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Proficient in problem-solving, decision-making, and implementing process improvements within a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in production management software and tools is a strong advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Prior experience in production management, preferably within the manufacturing or engineering sector.
- Prior experience in Sheetmetal Manufacturing industry is a plus.
