We are looking for an experienced Production Head to lead our Wooden Fabrication Division and drive operational excellence across manufacturing and project execution.
Job Summary
The Production Head – Wooden Fabrication will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end production operations, ensuring timely delivery, maintaining quality standards, optimizing manufacturing processes, and leading cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership capabilities with extensive experience in wooden fabrication, factory operations, and project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end wooden fabrication and factory operations.
- Plan production schedules and allocate manpower, machinery, and materials effectively.
- Ensure timely execution and delivery of projects while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor manufacturing productivity and implement continuous process improvements.
- Reduce production wastage and optimize material utilization.
- Manage factory teams, supervisors, and external vendors.
- Coordinate with Design, Project Management, Procurement, and Installation teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Track project progress and resolve production bottlenecks proactively.
- Prepare production reports, capacity planning, and resource forecasts.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives without compromising quality.
- Maintain inventory control and coordinate procurement requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in wooden fabrication, retail fit-outs, exhibitions, interiors, or custom manufacturing.
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership or production management role.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, factory operations, quality control, and material management.
- Excellent leadership, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Wood Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in exhibition fabrication and premium interior projects is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP/Production Management Software will be an added advantage.
