We are looking for an experienced Production Head / Manager to lead and manage end-to-end operations of a corrugated box manufacturing plant. The role involves production planning, plant operations, quality control, manpower management, and ensuring timely dispatch while maintaining high efficiency and minimal wastage.
Key Responsibilities:• Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules as per order requirements
• Oversee complete corrugation process including corrugator, printing, die-cutting, gluing, stitching, and dispatch
• Ensure maximum machine utilization and reduce downtime
• Monitor productivity and improve operational efficiency
• Maintain product quality as per specifications (GSM, strength, dimensions, printing quality)
• Control wastage of raw materials and reduce rework
• Manage and supervise plant manpower and shift allocation
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive maintenance and smooth operations
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and plant discipline
• Maintain production data, reports, and coordination with internal teams
Requirements:• 8–12+ years of experience in the corrugation industry
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership or plant handling role
• Strong knowledge of corrugator machines and converting processes
• Experience in production planning, quality control, and cost management
• Engineering degree (Mechanical / Production / Industrial preferred)
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills
Additional Requirements:• Ability to handle high-pressure production environments
• Strong coordination and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of ERP/MIS systems is a plus
