Role Description The Production Executive role is a full-time, on-site position located at the Tusar Metalworks LLP facility in Chakan. The Production Executive will oversee day-to-day production activities, including planning workloads, coordinating fabrication and assembly operations, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. This role involves monitoring production schedules, aligning resources, and resolving operational issues to maintain timely delivery of high value-added metal products. The Production Executive will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as quality, maintenance, and supply chain, and will prepare production reports, track key performance indicators, and recommend process improvements. The role also requires active communication with supervisors and shop-floor personnel to maintain smooth operations and continuous improvement in productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in production planning and production management to effectively schedule, organize, and control manufacturing operations.
- Candidates should possess strong communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, report production status, and support clear instructions on the shop floor.
- Candidates should possess skills in quality control to monitor product standards, ensure compliance with specifications, and support ISO-based quality practices.
- Candidates should possess relevant domain knowledge, with exposure to fabrication or engineering industries; any background in food technology is considered ancillary and not mandatory.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment, preferably involving metals such as carbon steel, alloy steel, or stainless steel.
- Working knowledge of safety practices, basic production documentation, and use of MS Office or production management software.
- Ability to work on-site in Chakan, manage multiple tasks, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
