Job Description for Production Engineer
We seek a dynamic Production Engineer to spearhead manufacturing and sourcing activities. This role combines hands-on production management with strategic supplier relationships, focusing on assembly operations with contract workers and coordination with fabricators for component manufacturing.
Area of Responsibility
Ø Production Management
· Optimize production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve throughput
· Manage assembly operations with contract workers at manufacturing facility
· Coordinate fabrication activities with external fabricators and suppliers
· Ensure seamless workflow from raw materials to finished products
Ø Quality Assurance
· Maintain quality standards per European specifications and requirements
· Implement quality control measures throughout production cycle
· Conduct regular inspections ensuring compliance with international standards
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives enhancing product quality and process efficiency
Ø Supplier & Vendor Management
· Develop and manage supplier relationships for optimal performance and reliability
· Evaluate vendor capabilities ensuring alignment with company requirements
· Negotiate contracts and maintain cost-effective sourcing strategies.
· Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement plans

Your profile
· Bachelor Degree in engineering with min. 5 years of work experience in production or fabrication industry.
· Proficiency in reading/interpreting fabrication drawings and technical specifications
· Comprehensive knowledge of welding procedures and manufacturing processes
· Understanding of quality management systems and European manufacturing standards
· Experience with production planning and workflow optimization
· You speak English and Hindi/Kannada language very well, and other languages are advantageous.
