Role Overview
We are looking for a practical, hands-on professional with 2 to 3 years of experience in wiring harness production, specifically for 2-wheelers (2W) and 3-wheelers (3W). This is a core shop-floor production role, not a design role. You will be responsible for overseeing the actual assembly, crimping, and routing of wiring harnesses. While this is a production role, the ability to read or understand CAD models/drawings is highly preferred to help smoothly translate drawings into physical products.
What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Oversee Harness Assembly: Manage the daily physical production of 2W and 3W wiring harnesses (cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and taping).
- Line Efficiency: Guide operators on the line to ensure harnesses are built correctly, safely, and on time.
- Quality Check: Ensure the final wiring harnesses match the required technical specs and pass routine testing (like continuity and fitment tests).
- Problem Solving: Step in on the shop floor when there are issues with assembly jigs, terminal crimping, or routing errors.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
- Wiring Harness Expertise: 2 to 3 years of solid experience working directly on a wiring harness production line (ideally for motorcycles, scooters, or auto-rickshaws).
- Drawing Literacy: Must be highly comfortable reading electrical wiring schematics and assembly board layouts.
- CAD Skills (Preferred): Basic knowledge or experience looking at CAD software is a big plus. You don't need to design, but being able to open a CAD file to check a measurement or layout helps immensely.
- Location: Based in or willing to relocate to Pune.
