Job Summary:
The Production Coordinator is responsible for coordinating production activities, sourcing materials, and managing product dispatch in an electrical manufacturing environment. This role ensures production runs smoothly, meets deadlines, and maintains quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate production activities to meet targets.
- Source materials and ensure timely delivery from suppliers.
- Manage inventory to ensure sufficient stock for production.
- Coordinate the dispatch of finished products to customers.
- Track production progress and address any delays or issues.
- Prepare production reports and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained in production.
- Collaborate with engineers and other teams to optimize processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in production coordination, sourcing, or dispatch, preferably in an electrical manufacturing setting.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience with production scheduling, inventory management, and ERP software.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality control.
- Ability to work well in a team and manage multiple tasks.
