Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Production Chemist role located in Karad. The Production Chemist will be responsible for executing production processes in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Daily responsibilities include overseeing the preparation and formulation of chemical compounds, monitoring quality control during production, ensuring documentation accuracy, and collaborating with the Research and Development (R&D) team to optimize processes.
Key Responsibilities: Handling production activities in pharmaceutical manufacturing
Ensuring compliance with GMP, SOP, and regulatory requirements
Monitoring batch manufacturing and process operations
Managing manpower and production planning
Documentation and batch records maintenance
Coordination with QA/QC and other departments
Ensuring safety, quality, and productivity on the shop floor
Candidate Requirements: 8–12 years of experience in pharmaceutical production
Strong knowledge of tablet/capsule manufacturing processes
Good understanding of GMP, documentation, and compliance
Experience in manpower handling and production planning
Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
