Job Summary
Responsible for test case preparation, testing, validation and test report preparation. Will also assist HW/SW team in preparing user test cases to be executed in production for product testing.
Requirements
- Understanding of embedded software and Cloud solutions use case.
- Knowledge of scripting languages shell script/Python etc..
- Knowledge of test automation tools for embedded software testing, IOT system testing.
- Knowledge of Python programming, Pytest framework and any other test framework.
- Knowledge of test Automation in any scripting language and recording defects in defect tracking software.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix or other similar operating systems.
- Complete knowledge product validation process.
- Knowledge of networking protocols, general protocols, system buses and interfaces.
- Basic understanding of 'C' language.
Functions & Responsibilities
- Validation of Products, systems and solutions.
- Creating detailed test cases, scripts for test automation, validation plans across firmware, protocols, gate way and Cloud platforms.
- Execute the test cases.
- Prepare detailed test reports.
- Maintain the track of all defects and resolutions.
- Perform Validation, create documentation for company’s products and support deployment of solutions on customer site.
- Assist in preparing the user acceptance of product test plan to be executed in production during production.
Skills
Technical:
- Experience and familiarity with product testing practices and tools.
- Basic Knowledge of Electrical, Electronic and Mechanical components, systems and standards.
- Good language skills for written as well as spoken English.
- Good Knowledge of various documentation standards
Communication:
- Conversant with written and verbal communication in English & Hindi.
- Ability to communicate effectively with External Suppliers.
Software Skills:
- Expert ability to work with MS Excel / Office / Power Point.
- Knowledge of working with documentation version control.
Process:
- Knowledge of black box testing, white box testing, destructive testing etc..
- Knowledge of Product development life cycle Process.
- Knowledge of Project Management Process.
Educational Qualification
Minimum: Graduate in Engineering (Electronics & Communication/Product Design).
Additional / Preferable: Certification/diploma in Product Testing.
Experience
Upto 2 years in the field of Electronics and communication product testing.
