Docville is a technology-enabled healthcare company building solutions that make healthcare more accessible, convenient and connected. For the first time in the country, we can now connect specialist doctors to patients via our IoT interface so they can remotely consult the patient with live real-time parameters as if the patient is in their clinic.
The Role
We are looking for a Product UI/UX Intern who is passionate about designing intuitive, simple and engaging digital products.
You will work closely with the founder and product/development team to help design and improve Docville's digital products and user experiences.
This is not just a visual design role. You will be involved in understanding user problems, thinking through user journeys, creating wireframes and designing interfaces that are simple and easy to use.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing user experiences for Docville's web and mobile products.
- Create user flows, wireframes and high-fidelity UI designs.
- Help translate product ideas and requirements into intuitive user interfaces.
- Research competing products and identify UX best practices.
- Assist in improving existing screens and user journeys.
- Create clickable prototypes for new product features.
- Work with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
- Participate in brainstorming and product ideation sessions.
- Help maintain and improve Docville's design system and UI consistency.
- Conduct basic user research and gather feedback where required.
- Document product flows, features and design decisions.
What We're Looking ForMust Have
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in UI/UX Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction or a related field.
- A strong interest in digital product design and user experience.
- Familiarity with Figma.
- Understanding of basic UX principles, user flows and wireframing.
- A good eye for clean, modern and intuitive interface design.
- Ability to take feedback and iterate quickly.
Nice to Have
- Experience designing mobile apps or SaaS products.
- Experience creating interactive prototypes.
- Basic understanding of design systems.
- Knowledge of user research and usability testing.
- Interest in healthcare and technology.
- Basic understanding of how web or mobile applications are developed.
