Role Overview
We are looking for a Product Specialist with a strong clinical understanding of ophthalmology and optometry to drive product adoption, user engagement, and product evolution across Remidio's ophthalmic solutions portfolio.
The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between clinicians, customers, and product development teams, ensuring our products align with real-world clinical workflows and deliver meaningful value to end users.
This role is ideal for professionals with an Optometry or related clinical background who possess strong product orientation, customer engagement skills, and a passion for improving healthcare delivery through technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive clinical adoption and effective utilization of Remidio products across customer sites.
- Act as the voice of the customer by gathering, analyzing, and translating user feedback into actionable product improvements.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of ophthalmic clinical workflows, screening programs, and diagnostic practices.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Clinical Affairs, and Commercial teams to define and prioritize product enhancements.
- Conduct field visits, customer interactions, and product evaluations to identify adoption challenges and improvement opportunities.
- Support new product launches, pilot programs, and clinical validation initiatives.
- Deliver product demonstrations, user training sessions, and educational programs for customers and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor product performance, customer adoption, and usage metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and evolving customer needs within ophthalmology and vision care.
Key Requirements
- Strong understanding of ophthalmic clinical workflows and customer requirements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to effectively engage with optometrists, ophthalmologists, healthcare administrators, and cross-functional technical teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Ability to translate clinical insights into product requirements and business outcomes.
- Willingness to travel extensively for customer visits, product evaluations, and training programs.
- Experience in product management, clinical applications, product training, customer success, or healthcare technology is an added advantage.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Optometry, Vision Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or a related healthcare discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in ophthalmology, optometry, medical devices, healthcare technology, or clinical product management.
- Prior experience working with ophthalmic diagnostic devices, retinal imaging systems, or vision care solutions will be highly preferred.
