Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram for a Product Sourcing - Product Development Manager - Category - Merchandizing Manager specializing in kitchenware and cookware. The role involves overseeing product sourcing, managing product development cycles, and conducting detailed market research for kitchenware and cookware categories. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams for product design, ensuring product quality, evaluating suppliers, and developing innovative products that align with market trends. The role requires strategic planning, category merchandising, and maintaining operational efficiency to meet business objectives.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Market Research and the ability to analyze consumer trends and competitor strategies
- Strong understanding of Research and Development (R&D) and experience in managing product development processes
- Demonstrated expertise in Product Management to oversee end-to-end product cycles
- Solid Analytical Skills to make data-driven decisions and evaluate market opportunities
- Exposure to Sales, including working with sales teams to align product offerings with customer demand
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork
- Educational background in Business Management, Marketing, Product Design, or a related field
- Experience in the kitchenware or cookware industry is a strong advantage
