The Product & Sales Trainer will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality customer interactions, strengthening product understanding, and driving sales performance. This role acts as a bridge between Quality Assurance, Product, and Sales teams to enhance conversion rates, improve customer experience, and enable continuous team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance (QA)
- Monitor and audit sales calls, demos, and customer interactions
- Evaluate performance against defined quality benchmarks and compliance standards
- Maintain QA scorecards and provide structured, actionable feedback
- Identify recurring gaps in sales conversations and recommend improvements
- Ensure adherence to scripts, processes, and company guidelines
- Sales Training & Enablement
- Conduct onboarding and induction training for new sales team members
- Deliver ongoing training programs covering:
- Sales pitch and storytelling
- Objection handling techniques
- Closing strategies
- Conduct mock calls, role plays, and live coaching sessions
- Drive improvement in conversion metrics (Demo to Sales)
- Support underperforming team members through structured coaching and performance improvement plans (PIP)
- Product Training & Knowledge Management
- Develop a strong understanding of the product and its use cases
- Train sales teams on:
- Product features and benefits
- Customer scenarios and workflows
- Competitive positioning
- Create and maintain training materials, FAQs, and knowledge base documentation
- Act as a liaison between Product and Sales teams for updates and knowledge dissemination
- Performance Improvement & Coaching
- Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions with team members
- Identify skill gaps through QA audits and performance data
- Track and improve key metrics such as:
- Call quality
- Customer engagement
- Sales conversion rates
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Reporting & Insights
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on QA performance and training effectiveness
- Analyze trends, including:
- Funnel drop-off points
- Common objections
- Customer feedback patterns
- Share actionable insights with management for strategic decision-making
- Process Improvement & Collaboration
- Collaborate with Sales Managers and Product teams to improve processes
- Design and refine SOPs, scripts, and training frameworks
- Ensure smooth rollout of new product features, updates, and campaigns
- Continuously enhance QA and training methodologies

Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Inside Sales / B2C sales processes
- Excellent training, coaching, and presentation skills
- Strong product understanding and storytelling ability
- Analytical mindset with reporting and data interpretation skills
- Experience in call auditing and structured feedback delivery
Experience & Qualification
- 2-5 years of experience in QA, Sales Training, or Product Training roles
- Experience in a call-based sales environment preferred
- Graduate (MBA preferred)
Good to Have
- Experience with CRM tools such as Odoo or Salesforce
- Background in SaaS, EdTech, or service-based industries
- Experience with LMS or training platforms
