Role Description
The Product Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving revenue growth by launching and developing the medical devices portfolio in the assigned territory. The role demands strong commercial acumen, KOL engagement, and a science-driven consultative approach to establish Wellesta’ s MD&D products across private and government institutions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities
- Launch and develop medical device products in the assigned territory, ensuring market penetration and revenue growth
- Develop Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and establish a robust dealer/distributor infrastructure across private and government sectors
- Drive new product launches with innovative technologies, working closely with the marketing and application teams
- Execute the sales plan with a high level of commercial aggression to consistently meet and exceed revenue targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to support future portfolio and market growth
- Maintain active market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and clinical trends
Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate with a Science background; additional qualification in Business/Management preferred
- Expertise in consultative selling with a solution-oriented approach
- Willingness and ability to manage and travel across large geographies
- Keen interest in learning and presenting emerging technologies to clinical stakeholders
- Ability to take ownership of new product and technology establishment in the market
Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the Medical Devices industry, preferably in small capital equipment sales, with prior experience in ultrasound equipment sales being an added advantage.
