1. Role Overview & Strategic IntentThe Product & PMO Manager for Banking Partnerships serves as the mission-critical anchor between Tier-1 Banking/NBFC partners and internal cross-functional delivery units (Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Operations).
This role demands a unique, hybrid profile: a professional who possesses the technical acumen of an Agile Product Manager, the execution discipline of an enterprise Program Management Office (PMO) lead, and the polished relationship management skills required to interface with institutional bank CXOs. The ultimate mandate is to orchestrate the seamless implementation, rollout, and scaling of high-throughput fintech solutions (e.g., Loan Origination Systems, automated underwriting engines) into highly regulated banking environments.
2. Core Functional PillarsClient & Stakeholder Management- Act as the primary point of contact (SPOC) for institutional Banks, NBFCs, and enterprise clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across disparate business, operations, product, and technology stakeholders.
- Conduct regular governance meetings, steering committee reviews, and project status updates.
- Handle complex client escalations and drive timely, strategic resolution.
Product Management & Requirement Engineering- Lead deep-dive discovery workshops with banking partners to capture intricate business rules, compliance logic, and localization needs.
- Translate raw institutional requirements into structured, high-fidelity Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), Epic definitions, User Stories, and functional specifications.
- Partner with Core Engineering and Product teams to prioritize roadmap items, balancing client-specific features with platform product roadmaps.
- Monitor adoption, usage, and business impact of launched features, driving enhancements based on market needs and customer feedback.
Program & Project Management- Own the end-to-end implementation lifecycle of multi-tenant enterprise software integrations inside bank infrastructures.
- Create comprehensive project plans, milestones, cross-team dependency maps, proactive risk registers, and resource allocation trackers.
- Coordinate across Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, Operations, and Business teams to ensure aggressive delivery targets are met on time and within agreed timelines.
PMO, Governance & Rollout- Establish clear project governance frameworks and maintain accountability across internal and external stakeholders.
- Publish high-visibility weekly and monthly governance reports tracking project status, risks, issues, and action items.
- Manage change requests (CRs) and strict scope management protocols.
- Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution with client teams, coordinate production releases/go-live activities, and support post-production hypercare stabilization.

6. Candidate Baseline & Preferred Profile- 6–8 years of proven execution experience in FinTech, Banking, NBFC, or enterprise SaaS product companies.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills; completely comfortable interacting with CXOs, Product Heads, Business Heads, and Enterprise Technology teams.
- Ability to manage multiple complex enterprise accounts simultaneously with a strong ownership mindset focused on execution and customer success.
