Job Title: Product Owner – Payments (Only BFSI Domain)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner – Payments with strong domain expertise in payment systems and financial services. The ideal candidate will drive product vision, manage stakeholder expectations, and deliver scalable payment solutions aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business teams, and technology teams to define product roadmap
- Drive Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives)
- Translate business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
- Ensure delivery of high-quality payment solutions within timelines
- Work closely with compliance and risk teams to ensure regulatory adherence
- Monitor product performance and continuously improve based on insights
Mandatory Skills & Expertise
- Strong experience in Payments Domain, including:
- SWIFT
- ISO 20022
- Real-Time / Instant Payments
- Request to Pay (R2P)
- Domestic & Cross-border payments
- High Value / Low Value / Mass Payments
- Hands-on experience with Risk & Compliance frameworks
- Solid understanding of Transaction Monitoring systems
Technical & Tools Expertise
- Agile tools: JIRA
- Test management: TestRail
- Data & reporting: Power BI, SQL, Excel
- Documentation tools and techniques
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Financial Services / Banking domain
- Exposure to regulatory standards and compliance frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
