Product Owner - FenergoNABfull-timeRequired skillsAgilebankingcross functionaluser storiesPegaAbout the role Website: nab.com.au Job details: Purpose of the Role:Represent the business when capturing and grooming requirements, ensuring outcomes are aligned to both short term and strategic goals.Maximize the Value being delivered by ensuring all features are aligned to business value.Manage/Refine the backlog of the team through prioritization and decision making.Communicate updates to stakeholders and the wider community.Works within constraints by pivoting and applying trade-offs.Outline the requirements to develop the products.Supports Developers, Analysts and Quality Engineers in understanding the product needs, so they can deliver on their commitments.Manage complex environments with high number of features and interdependencies.Key Accountabilities:Responsible for capturing and grooming requirements into epics, features, user stories and dependencies in collaboration with the squads that aligns with business requirements across multiple complex environments.Make day to day decisions to enable development team to move quickly through product iterations.Ensure the Delivery and Development teams understand the value of each user story that is being delivered at the right time.Own and manage team backlog and prioritise tasks in line with roadmap.Involved in the roadmap planning, release planning, execution, review of each sprint, realising impact, value and focus on the right priorities.Work collaboratively with Scrum Master and the squad to deliver backlog.Communicate release slices with key stakeholders.Attend all relevant ceremonies.Leaders at all levels will be expected to ensure their teams are clear, capable and motivated:Clear about purpose, values, goals and plans, expectations and processes, and the boundaries of ethical decision making.Capable with the right talent, time, tools and skills to do their work, with leaders expected to manage resources (people, budgets, assets) and coach teams to build competence and confidence.Motivated by leaders who build trust, inclusive teams and a psychologically safe environment, track results, and provide clear follow-up and feedback.Required Experience:Strong AML/KYC Customer Due Diligence (CDD) Product and Domain Experience.Minimum 15+ years’ experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in global banking/ GCC environment.Good Functional Knowledge of FenX (Fenergo), PEGA and other CDD domain applications.Creativity and simplifying complex processes and issues, problem solving and process analysis.Extensive knowledge and experience working in banking in an agile delivery environment.Ability to communicate a product vision to key stakeholders and teams, developing it into a shaped backlog of key features, user stories and goals for individual sprints.Comfortable playing a leadership role, including leading workshops, in a co-located cross functional business and IT team through the discovery, development and operational usage stages of product development.Ability to innovate, adapt and grasp new skills and content.Ability to work closely with key stakeholders and build collaborative partnerships whilst sometimes saying no.Proven analytical skills and evidence-based decision making.
