About the Role
The Product Owner will play a key role in helping deliver digital products that power Cold Chain Technologies' customer-facing and internal platforms. This role will support multiple Product Managers and Senior Product Managers, translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements for engineering and external development partners. This is an ideal opportunity for a mid-level Product Owner who is experienced, collaborative, detail-oriented, and motivated to work in a fast-growing, global, cross-functional environment.
Responsibilities
- Product Delivery & Execution
- Partner with Product Managers/Sr. Product Managers to execute roadmap priorities for customer-facing and internal digital products.
- Own the creation of user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and process documentation using modern product management tool sets.
- Break down requirements for in-house teams and outsourced development partners with clarity and traceability.
- Maintain a prioritized product backlog and support sprint planning, refinement, and delivery ceremonies.
- Ensure consistent communication of progress, risks, and decisions to stakeholders across time zones (specifically with 3 to 4 hours of overlapping support for US EST and GMT working hours).
- Customer & Business Understanding
- Understand customer needs, pain points, and value drivers using VOC feedback and cross-functional input.
- Identify opportunities for value-adding feature enhancements and process improvements.
- Support customer onboarding and internal rollout activities, including release notes, documentation, and training materials.
- Quality, Governance & Methodology
- Champion Agile practices, while applying hybrid approaches (Agile + Waterfall) when appropriate.
- Ensure product increments meet quality, performance, and compliance expectations.
- Drive continuous improvement via retrospectives, data insights, and structured feedback loops.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, QA, UX, operations, account managers, and technical support teams.
- Support Marketing and Customer Success with go-to-market materials and release communications.
- Help foster transparency, alignment, and a shared understanding across global teams.
Qualifications
- Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2–5 years experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst.
- Practical experience working in Agile development environments.
- Strong analytical and requirements-gathering skills (user stories, acceptance criteria, process mapping).
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work effectively with distributed teams across geographies.
- Preferred
- Experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, cold chain, or logistics industries.
- Exposure to cloud-based SaaS products or IoT-connected platforms.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar.
- Experience using design tools including Figma or other UX/UI software packages.
- Experience with UML/BPMN or other process-mapping techniques.
