Job Title: Product Owner (SME) – Custody Business / Custody Investment

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Product Owner (SME) with strong expertise in Custody Business/Custody Investment to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in custody operations, investment services, and product ownership, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable product solutions. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the Product Owner and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Custody Business and Custody Investment products.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements.
Define product vision, roadmap, and backlog aligned with business goals.
Translate business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
Work closely with development, QA, and business teams throughout the Agile delivery lifecycle.
Prioritize product backlog based on business value and customer needs.
Ensure successful delivery of product features within defined timelines.
Conduct product demonstrations, sprint reviews, and stakeholder meetings.
Drive continuous product improvements based on customer feedback and market trends.
Coordinate UAT activities and support production deployments.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and operational standards within the custody domain.
Required Skills
10+ years of overall experience in Banking & Financial Services.
Strong domain expertise in Custody Business, Custody Investment, Securities Services, and Asset Servicing.
Hands-on experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in Agile environments.
Excellent understanding of custody operations, settlements, corporate actions, fund accounting, securities lifecycle, and investment products.
Experience in requirement gathering, backlog management, and stakeholder management.
Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with cross-functional and global teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
CSPO/Product Owner certification is an added advantage.
Experience with leading custody platforms or investment banking applications is preferred.
