We are looking for an experienced **Technical Product Owner** to support our software delivery teams from offshore.
*This role requires strong domain experience in Warehouse Automation (WMS, WCS, WES), Supply Chain Management, Logistics.
*Agile delivery experience, technical understanding, Jira/JPD discipline, and the ability to translate business and PI objectives into clear, actionable epics, stories, and acceptance criteria.
Roles & Responsibilities:
### Backlog & Delivery Management
* Own and maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog in Jira.
* Convert PI objectives, business needs, and architecture inputs into clear epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
* Ensure stories are well-groomed and ready before sprint planning.
* Clearly document functional requirements, non-functional requirements, edge cases, dependencies, and integration points.
* Manage scope and help avoid uncontrolled scope creep.
* Maintain Jira Product Discovery / Jira data hygiene to reflect accurate progress and delivery status.
* Ensure Definition of Ready and Definition of Done expectations are followed.
### Sprint Execution
* Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
* Pre-groom backlog items before refinement sessions.
* Work with Scrum Masters and engineering teams to ensure sprint scope is clear and achievable.
* Support release readiness by validating story completion, acceptance criteria, QA status, and open risks.
* Partner with QA and DevOps teams on release checklists and production readiness.
### Dependency & Stakeholder Management
* Identify and track cross-team, architecture, QA, DevOps, vendor, and customer dependencies.
* Create and manage tickets for dependent teams where needed.
* Escalate unresolved dependencies before they become sprint blockers.
* Work closely with stakeholders and end users to ensure delivered features meet expectations.
* Support internal and customer demos as required. ### PI Planning & Execution
* Support PI planning by helping translate PI objectives into milestones, epics, and sprint-level deliverables.
* Ensure accepted stories trace back to PI objectives.
* Track risks, assumptions, dependencies, and issues throughout the PI.
* Maintain accurate Jira updates across epics, stories, defects, risks, and delivery status.
* Coordinate with Scrum Masters to ensure proper PI start/end hygiene and closure activities.
### Metrics & Reporting
* Track delivery health indicators such as backlog readiness, sprint predictability, say/do ratio, sprint interruptions, release readiness, and story return/rework.
* Keep initiative-level delivery information current in JPD/Jira.
* Provide regular updates on delivery progress, risks, blockers, and upcoming milestones.
* Help improve team predictability and reduce mid-sprint disruptions.
