Our Client is seeking an Associate Product Owner to support the delivery of enterprise-scale web platforms and digital products. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy professional who combines product thinking, hands-on development experience, and strong Agile execution skills to bridge business goals with technical implementation. You’ll work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Engineering teams to ensure requirements are clear, actionable, and aligned with business outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Support the execution of product roadmaps for enterprise platforms
- Act as Product Owner for Scrum teams, managing backlog, prioritization, and story readiness
- Define clear acceptance criteria and ensure Definition of Done is met
- Translate business requirements into structured user stories, including edge cases and non-functional needs
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to validate technical feasibility and design approaches
- Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives
- Contribute to web-based applications including portals, dashboards, and data-driven interfaces
- Ensure usability, scalability, and performance considerations are included in delivery
- Support QA/UAT, defect triage, and release readiness activities
- Partner with stakeholders to gather feedback and align delivery with business goals
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of overall IT experience in software development or technical roles
- 1+ year experience in Product Owner or similar product-focused roles
- Hands-on experience with web application development (frontend, backend, or full-stack)
- Familiarity with modern web technologies (e.g., React, Angular, REST APIs)
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Ability to translate business needs into clear, development-ready user stories
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise platforms, internal tools, or data-driven products
- Exposure to supply chain, operations, or consumer-focused domains
- Understanding of cloud technologies (Azure preferred)
- Experience working with distributed/global teams
- Agile or Scrum Product Owner certification
