Job Title: Product Owner
Location: Bangalore
Job Description:
The Product Owner will own the product backlog and roadmap for key retail platforms,
working closely with engineering, business stakeholders, and leadership. This role requires
strong domain knowledge of the retail industry and the ability to translate complex business
needs into clear, actionable product requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring clear prioritization and refinement
• Translate retail business requirements into user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria
• Work closely with engineering teams on sprint planning, reviews, and releases
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define product vision and roadmap
• Ensure alignment between business goals and technical implementation
• Make data-driven decisions using metrics and customer feedback
• Act as the primary point of contact for product-related questions and clarifications
• Ensure delivered features meet business and operational expectations
• Continuously improve product outcomes through feedback and iteration
Skills:
Education & Experience:
• 6–10 years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst.
• Strong understanding of the retail industry (stores, inventory, transactions, promotions, finance, etc.).
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams.
• Ability to work closely with engineering teams using modern tech stacks (microservices, cloud, APIs).
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with large, complex enterprise systems.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in relevant fields.
